Bring the kids for a meal and stick around for fun activities at the Library!

During this hilariously engaging “draw along” art program, your kids and family can complete refrigerator-ready pictures using a unique approach to teaching drawing for kids. Kids can follow along with easy shape-by-shape instructions. Budding artists can “grab” eyeballs and “plooop” them into their drawings. You’ll laugh along at the charming story of a two-year-old penguin’s cupcake-eating adventures. You’ll see, too, your children’s artistic self-confidence soar as they leave the program with original artwork they created. Ages 5-12, and families. Presented by Kyle Tiernan.

Hearing stories is a great way to spend time with your kids and help them develop a love of language, books and learning. Join us this summer to feed your kids’ bellies and brains with story time fun. Children and their families will enjoy stories and a meal together. Each session will end with time for families to read together before the school district’s sack lunch program arrives.
